Recurring dreams

I have had recurring dreams that have came true, after years of these dreams, since I keep a dream diary, it really helped, although puzzling as to why I stopped having the dreams after the events took place.

sometimes when dreaming, I think to myself 'I've been here before!'. but that happens very rarely and only twice maximum for a dream. it's interesting.

You have unique dreams Reggigird... a deja vu within a dream .. now that's something I've never heard of before... interesting twist to a dream :)

gee, I thought everyone experiences that once in a while!

I've had this one dream that I had 5 times, non-consecutively. It's odd though, as it's always the same each time. That was years ago, though, and I wish I could have it again, so as to interact with it in lucid dreaming.

5 times?! woah, that must really mean something then.. I hope you get to dream it again:]

I've never experienced a deja vu within a dream of mine, but I love it when it happens in real life, in a dream would be so very interesting ... I have had recurring dreams, but only when I was much younger, but never five times either ... and I've heard of lucid dreaming before, but what is that exactly?

Lucid dreaming is when you know you're dreaming, but you haven't woken up at that point. I've heard you can then kind of "control" your dreams. I've not experienced it.

ooh then this means i've experienced small forms of lucid dreaming before, only years ago that was. once someone was chasing me and some of my friends in a dream (which is the case almost everytime) and they caught up with us and then I turned to one of the friends saying ''don't worry, this is just a dream. I'll put my fingers on my temples like that and it won't be scary anymore'' and then I woke up! the only thing I can never control is running away from those nasty chasers. something is always stopping my legs, as if they have weights on them. I've heard many people experience that though... can :you: run in a dream?

I've never had any lucid dreaming, but would absolutely love to experience it. Thanks for sharing what that is. :)
